Currently, you'll find digital cookbooks and recipe collections from Medieval Way — practical, research-driven guides to forgotten medieval food techniques, starting with our flagship release, The Medieval Bakery: Practical Recipes.
2. What format are your ebooks in, and what devices can I read them on?
All ebooks are delivered as high-resolution PDFs. They work on any device — phone, tablet, laptop, e-reader, or printed at home. Ingredient weights are in grams; oven temperatures are listed in Fahrenheit (with metric conversions where useful).
3. How do I receive my order?
Instantly. As soon as your payment is confirmed, a download link is emailed to the address you used at checkout. There is no physical shipping — your ebook is yours within minutes.
4. Are there any shipping or download fees?
No. Because all current products are digital, there are no shipping costs and no hidden fees. The price you see at checkout is what you pay.
5. Where are your products delivered from?
Digital products are delivered automatically via a secure download link from our Shopify store. The Medieval Way studio is based in Germany.
6. Can I return my order?
Because our ebooks are digital products delivered instantly, all sales are final once the download begins — this is standard EU practice for digital content, and you'll confirm it at checkout. That said, if you ever have an issue with your file (broken link, corrupted download, missing content), reach out within 14 days at and we'll make it right.
